WHITESNAKE, the legendary rock’n’roll legacy founded and formed by renowned singer/songwriter David Coverdale, unleashes a brand new storming ‘Snake statement, “Forevermore” on Frontiers Records on March 25th in Europe and March 29th in North America.

Their 11th studio album, “Forevermore” was recorded, produced and mixed by Coverdale, guitarist Doug Aldrich and Michael McIntyre at Snakebyte Studios and Grumblenott Studios & Villas in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, with additional work at Casa Dala, Sherman Oaks, CA, and Whitesnake will take to the road for a full world tour in support of the release.

Formed in 1977, and steered by the legendary Coverdale, Whitesnake carry a rightful reputation as one of the world’s leading rock’n’roll bands. Coverdale’s blues and soul roots, combined with a feral sense of rock and roll, have consistently shaped the ‘Snake’s sound, and add to that Coverdale’s love and appreciation of impeccable musicianship and you have a failsafe recipe for success.

Description : The tagline 'Ready For the World' will inject inspiration into the national cyclists who will be competing in the race. More elaborate preparation will be done in order for the Malaysian road cyclists to challenge the reputations of track cyclists who are classified as 'World-beaters' like Azizulhasni Awang, Josiah Ng and Rizal Tisin.

At the same ceremony, a memorandum of understanding between MNCF and representatives of two UCI ProTour Teams, Team Garmin-Cervelo and Pro Team Astana were also signed. Team Garmin-Cervelo will be represented by Director Sportif Chann McRae, while Pro Team Astana will be represented by Commercial Director Dr. Aidar Makhmetov. This memorandum will ensure the preparedness of both teams to provide a world class challenge in LTdL 2012.

The LTdL 2012 challenge begins on February 24 with Individual time trial along a 20.3 km course in Putrajaya to kick off the race that runs for a total distance of 1,414.8km.

The Genting Highlands climb is featured on the sixth stage and remains the race's signature stage with a Hors category climb up to the summit at 1,679m above sea level. Right after that, a 215km stage from Bentong to Kuantan offer an even stiffer challenge on Stage Seven.

Moving away from tradition, where the LTdL final stage usually features a criterium in Kuala Lumpur, LTdL 2012 will end with the final three stages being hosted by Terengganu.

Terengganu's selection as the finish host of LTdL 2012 was based on the state Government's pro-activeness in the development of cycling, as the state has produced many of the current batch of riders representing the country.

Through the state's development programmes they have produced riders like Azizulhasni Awang, Fatehah Mustapa, Anuar Manan, Mohd Harrif Salleh, Ahmad Haidar Anuawar, Mohd Adiq Husainie Othman and Shahrul Mat Amin. The state government have also become the sponsors of the continental team Terengganu Pro Asia (TSG), which all shows that the State is commited towards producing, developing and exposing cycling talent on to the world stage.

It is hoped that the selection of the three finish locations and two start venues in Terengganu will further inspire young talents in the state to make steps towards becoming top cyclists in the future.

LTdL 2012 is expected to feature 22 professional teams including three local teams which are the national team, TSG and LeTua Cycling Team.

Description : International American rock band, Incubus, will make their return to Kuala Lumpur for a one-night-only concert at Stadium Negara, on 23rd July 2011 (Saturday). From Calabasas, California, Incubus brought together hard rock, metal, funk and pop melodies to great success in the first decade of the 21st century. A hit with both modern rock and mainstream audiences, Incubus conquered radio with a series of relationship songs that may have sanded down the band´s rough edges but secured a large fan following.

Incubus started branching out creatively and earned mainstream recognition with the release of their 1999 album Make Yourself. In 2001, Incubus became even more successful with the single "Drive" and their follow up album Morning View. The band recently completed a seventh studio album, If Not Now, When?, which will be released in July. With their seemingly unstoppable fame, there couldn´t be a more exciting time to catch this band live. If not now, when? You definitely do not want to miss this night.

Brandon Boyd on the new album: "If Not Now, When? is the coalescing of this slow arc. The wave that has been traveling so long, about to break. A force that is capable of both beauty and destruction, but is most noteworthy because of it´s uniqueness as an event that will never occur again. Waves have broken before it, waves will break afterwards, but each one is an individual canvas. This one is ours. Yours and mine. So, if success is a drug, then Incubus is a functioning addict. I know how trite it sounds to be commenting on our own success but I see our addiction as a collective one. You have enabled us thus far and what we are creating in the process will be worthy of conversation for a long time to come. When I say ‘WE’ I mean you and I. All of us. This is, after all, a conversation that started in the early 90´s and has continued until today. A stroll along a winding path through many landscapes and over much terrain. Yes, our bones ache, our dogs are barkin´, our shoes have holes in them, and we don´t look as good with our shirts off anymore. But that doesn´t mean we won't keep walking!
