Description : The second edition of the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia will take place at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) from October 13th – 16th 2011.
This year’s field will grow to 72 players, comprising the top 62 LPGA members from the Official Money List, alongside 10 sponsors’ invites, who will battle it out for a record prize purse of US$1.9 million.
The four-day stroke play event with no cut will once again ensure that players are in Kuala Lumpur for the tournament duration. The local and regional golf community can catch their favourite golfers in action, including international superstars Michelle Wie, Cristie Kerr and Natalie Gulbis; all who are expected to make a return to this year’s event. Further names will also be announced over the forthcoming weeks.
