Chicken Rendang Kunyit


.... a very delicious dish!

1/2 Chicken - cut to pieces
10 Cili Padi*
1-2 Red Chilies*
10 Shallots* 
1/2 Big Onion*
2 cloves Garlic*
2" Ginger*
2" Fresh turmeric*
3 Candlenuts* (* blended)
1 tbsp Curry Powder
3 tbsp Chili Paste
2 Lemongrass - bruised
1 Turmeric leaf - sliced finely
1 bowl Thick Coconut Milk
1 tsp Sugar
Salt

METHOD:
1. Heat 1/2 cup oil & stir fry lemon grass, the blended ingredients, curry powder & chili paste until fragrant.
2. Add in chicken, turmeric leaf, sugar, salt & coconut milk.
Let it boil & stir occasionally until it become thick.
3. Serve with rice or roti...! Nyummy....!
